Sweeping Promises Oklahoma reviews
Awesome music, bad stage setup
The stage setup was disappointing as the piano was placed at the other end of the stage with the keyboard facing the outer section, which meant I could only see the top of Sweeping Promises's head and feet while looking through everyone in the first two rows. The video screens mostly displayed distracting videos, with only occasional glimpses of Sweeping Promises actually playing live. I didn't pay for a live performance to watch him on videos. However, once I got past the poor stage setup, the music was fantastic - Elton still has it, and his incredible band looked like they were having a blast. I splurged on third-row tickets to finally watch the master at his piano, but was disappointed with the stage layout. Despite this, Elton's final words of goodbye to Milwaukee were heartfelt and touching.
